Content Manager (Maternity cover) 12 months starting Jan 25

We are seeking a talented Content Manager to join this fantastic business and team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growing brand by managing the content that shapes their digital presence. If you are creative, strategic, and have a passion for storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Raise brand awareness, monitor web traffic, and analyse metrics to identify best practices•    Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with both short-term and long-term marketing objectives•    Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan, create, and refine site content, style, and layout•    Publish engaging and original content regularly•    Edit, proofread, and enhance the work of the copywriter to ensure quality and brand consistency•    Optimize content for SEO to boost visibility and search rankings•    Use content management systems (CMS) to track website traffic and user engagement metrics•    Manage distribution of content across online channels and social media to increase traffic and user engagement•    Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely content delivery•    Ensure compliance with legal regulations such as copyright and data protection•    Stay updated on industry trends and generate new ideas to engage the target audience

Key Competencies:

•    Proven experience as a Content Manager/Executive, with demonstrated success in a content role•    Strong understanding of web traffic metrics, and social media platforms•    Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with high attention to detail•    Strong organizational and time-management skills•    Experience with managing online content•    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial •    Familiarity with CRM systems•    A degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is desirable but not essential depending on experience.
