Due to exciting growth, we are now seeking a Consultant to join the Graphics team of this highly regarded environmental planning and design consultancy. It is preferable that the successful candidate is within commutable distance of the office in Elkstone, although this is not essential as home working will be supported for a proportion of the working week.
In the role you will be primarily processing and interrogating GIS data and data capture and assisting the team to create technical plans and feasibility reports.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, positive and a confident communicator. You will have first class computer and graphic skills and excellent verbal and visual presentation abilities. You will be able to visually communicate using GIS software.
Our clients current platform is QGIS. Experience in the following software would be desirable: Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, AutoCAD, Vectorworks & Sketchup.
You will have a good understanding of Ordnance Survey mapping and geographical data sets and ideally some knowledge of property/construction/environmental planning.
