Tru Recruitment is delighted to be working with a respected law firm in Cirencester, who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Commercial Property team. Key Responsibilities as a Legal Assistant:

As a Legal Assistant supporting the Commercial Property department, your role will be varied and engaging, including:

  • Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence

  • Handling confidential client information with professionalism and care

  • Audio and copy typing of legal documents

  • File opening, maintenance, and archiving (both paper and digital)

  • Diary management and scheduling meetings for the Partner

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors

  • Assisting with property searches and land registry applications

  • Preparing completion statements and handling post-completion tasks

  • General administrative support including scanning, photocopying, and file organisation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong typing and administrative skills

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail

  • A proactive and professional approach

  • Willingness to learn - full training will be provided

  • The ability to work closely with a senior Partner and manage a varied workload

  • Previous legal experience is ideal but not essential
