A renowned classic car company with an international client base is seeking an Automotive Procurement and stores supervisor to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for classic cars and a desire to manage and develop their growing Stores Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of stock and parts-related activity, ensuring high-quality restorations, bespoke builds, and upgrades are supported by an efficient procurement and logistics system.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and manage the company’s inventory and stock, controlling costs within a set budget.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s materials, parts, and consumables inventory.
  • Source automotive parts both nationally and internationally.
  • Handle all parts logistics and customs documentation.
  • Liaise daily with project managers and technicians on procurement, product availability, and delivery dates from preferred suppliers.
  • Negotiate best prices with external suppliers.
  • Conduct regular stock checks.
  • Organise and store all stock and parts efficiently.
  • Negotiate contracts and certificates of guarantee with suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in procurement and stores management.
  • Knowledge and experience of automotive parts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised and a team player.
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills in MS Office applications - Outlook, Excel & Word.
