Reginald Gray are working alongside a key client to find an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their established team on a unique £50M prime residential project in the Cotswolds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to gain experience on one of the most exciting projects in the sector.


About the Role:

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the Project and Senior Surveyor in delivering a prestigious residential scheme. This role will offer exposure to various aspects of quantity surveying, providing invaluable experience for personal and professional growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
  • Support with procurement, tendering, and contract management.
  • Assist in evaluating variations and change orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of costs and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the project and senior surveyors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Some form of commercial qualification (e.g., degree, HNC) and some experience on site or in a project environment.
  • Strong interest in transitioning into the high-quality residential sector.
  • Previous experience in construction or a related sector is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude with a strong desire to learn and progress.
