Robert Half are working in partnership with a rapidly growing, leading company near Cirencester to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their finance function on a full-time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity that will play a pivotal role owning the accounts payable process and support various areas of the transactional finance process. The Finance Assistant role will be suitable for an AAT studier with experience or someone that is qualified by experience that wants to be a part of a thriving business and add value. The salary is between £24,000 - £28,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.

The Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will primarily focus on the accounts payable process, with the opportunity to assist across all transactional areas of the business. This is an exciting role offering variety and the chance to develop within a supportive and ambitious environment. Key duties consist of:

  • Processing invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing expenses and credit card expenditure
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Processing bank transactions
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Supporting with adhoc duties such as improving and documenting transactional processes

Requirements

To be considered for the Finance Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:

  • Must have accounts payable/purchase ledger experience.
  • AAT studier or qualified by experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Good team player.
  • Competent user of Excel.
  • Strong work ethic.
