Robert Half are working in partnership with a thriving business near Cirencester to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their finance function on a full-time permanent basis. This is a challenging role that will be responsible for the accounts receivable process and will be involved with various types of reconciliations, processing and raising payments and credit control. The Finance Assistant role will be suitable for someone that is AAT qualified or qualified by experience that is looking to be a part of fast paced business and someone that is keen to add value. The salary is between £27,000 - £30,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Finance Assistant role will consist of:
- Credit control; debt collection via email and telephone, minimise debt and support with debt recovery.
- Producing aged debtor reports.
- Overseeing and running the billings process.
- Cash allocation.
- Liaising with various stakeholders and dealing with queries.
- Creating and maintaining customer accounts.
- Assisting with the month end process.
Requirements
To be considered for the Finance Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:
- Must have experience within accounts receivable or sales ledger; exposure to a variety of reconciliations.
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Hard work ethic.
- Good relationship building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Adaptable.
- Confident user of Excel; ability to create pivot tables and lookups.
Salary & Benefits
- £27,000 - £30,000 annual salary
- Hybrid working; 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
