Procurement Specialist 6m DRC Up to £400 pd. Gloucestershire based office (Hybrid)

Our client are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support the Category Manager on a interim basis. You will provide operational support through the end to end sourcing process of Software contracts, including:

  • Identifying sourcing opportunities
  • Executing negotiation strategies
  • Delivering cost reduction
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure procurement activities align with business objectives, governance and category strategies.

Key Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
  • Experience of vendor risk management processes
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to support and execute negotiations that deliver measurable value.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a category management framework.

Key Experiences:

  • At least three years experience in a procurement role.
  • CIPS or other relevant procurement certification (Desirable)
  • Financial Services experience (Desirable)
  • Experience in Software or technology procurement (Desirable)
