Procurement Specialist 6m DRC Up to £400 pd. Gloucestershire based office (Hybrid)
Our client are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support the Category Manager on a interim basis. You will provide operational support through the end to end sourcing process of Software contracts, including:
- Identifying sourcing opportunities
- Executing negotiation strategies
- Delivering cost reduction
- Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure procurement activities align with business objectives, governance and category strategies.
Key Skills and Experiences:
- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
- Experience of vendor risk management processes
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to support and execute negotiations that deliver measurable value.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a category management framework.
Key Experiences:
- At least three years experience in a procurement role.
- CIPS or other relevant procurement certification (Desirable)
- Financial Services experience (Desirable)
- Experience in Software or technology procurement (Desirable)
