Field Engineer (Mobility Equipment)

Location: Scotland wide (Workshop is based in Alloa, however this role will require you to travel to clients around Scotland)

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • The role primarily involves servicing, diagnosing faults, and repairing mobility equipment both on and off-site.
  • Responsibilities include identifying part numbers, pricing spare parts/modifications, and creating quotations.
  • Collaborating with clients to secure agreement on quotations, preparing orders, and conducting pre-delivery inspections.
  • Additionally, the role encompasses delivering new equipment, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Safely loading/unloading the vehicle, performing weekly safety checks, and adhering to traffic laws.
  • Ensuring vehicle cleanliness, workshop upkeep, and showroom tidiness.
  • Taking responsibility for personal development records and upholding confidentiality.
  • Contributing to team efforts through effective communication with staff, managers, and clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a diagnostic role.
  • Proactive and positive attitude towards customers.
  • Full UK Driver's license.
  • Competent computer skills.
