Achieve are seeking a Workshop Mechanical Fitter for their client in Alloa, specializing in engineered valves, pumps, and actuators for various industries.
Candidates must have over 5 years of experience working with rotating machinery, primarily pumps and motors, as well as workshop experience in disassembly and assembly of such equipment.
Knowledge of centrifugal pump overhaul and maintenance is desirable, along with a time-served craftsperson qualification in a mechanical discipline, ideally NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance.

First achieve are looking for a Workshop Mechanical fitter to join their client based in Alloa, who serves customers in the power, oil & gas, general industry and water & wastewater sectors with highly engineered valves, pumps and actuators, as well as complete support in every phase of a project or operation.

Requirements: To carry out mechanical fitting activities associated with the overhaul, repair and testing of rotating equipment, predominantly pump assemblies. Knowledge of centrifugal pump overhaul and maintenance is desirable.

Skills Required:

5+ years' experience in working with rotating machinery, primarily pumps and motors.
5+ years workshop experience in the disassembly, reporting and assembly of rotating machinery.
Experience working within a workshop environment.
Experience with PME (precision measuring equipment).

Education:

Time served craftsperson within a mechanical discipline. Educated to NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance
