Lab Technician

Clacton on Sea

Starting salary £25,000 dependant on experience

Permanent

Monday to Friday 8:30- 5pm

Due to retirement, a leading equipment manufacturer in Clacton on Sea are looking for a new team member to join them within the Lab, as a Lab Technician.

Main responsibilities:

  • Run sterilisation cycles
  • Complete required paperwork accurately
  • Arrange for dispatch of sterilised goods
  • Store all records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain regular cleanliness of the sterilisation suite and lab
  • Maintain calibration and maintenance programme
  • Provide support to existing and potential contract sterilisation customers
  • Respond promptly to enquiries from potential customers
  • Assist and support existing customers
  • Review contracts and validations

Skills and Experience (desirable or will be trained in):

  • Operating within a quality system environment
  • Experience of servicing Medical Devices
  • Knowledge of the Medical Device Directive/Regulations
  • Background in Chemistry

The successful candidate will have high attention to detail, be self-motivated and be able to manage projects independently. Be able to work as part of a team and be receptive to new ideas and at times if business requires to assist in other areas of the business.
