Lab Technician
Clacton on Sea
Starting salary £25,000 dependant on experience
Permanent
Monday to Friday 8:30- 5pm
Due to retirement, a leading equipment manufacturer in Clacton on Sea are looking for a new team member to join them within the Lab, as a Lab Technician.
Main responsibilities:
- Run sterilisation cycles
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Arrange for dispatch of sterilised goods
- Store all records accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain regular cleanliness of the sterilisation suite and lab
- Maintain calibration and maintenance programme
- Provide support to existing and potential contract sterilisation customers
- Respond promptly to enquiries from potential customers
- Assist and support existing customers
- Review contracts and validations
Skills and Experience (desirable or will be trained in):
- Operating within a quality system environment
- Experience of servicing Medical Devices
- Knowledge of the Medical Device Directive/Regulations
- Background in Chemistry
The successful candidate will have high attention to detail, be self-motivated and be able to manage projects independently. Be able to work as part of a team and be receptive to new ideas and at times if business requires to assist in other areas of the business.
