Market 36 Recruitment is seeking a Joinery Estimator & Sales Professional to join our client, a growing bespoke exterior joinery company based in Clacton-On-Sea. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent career growth and a competitive salary.

About the Role

As part of the sales and estimation team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. You will work with both commercial and residential clients, providing expert joinery solutions tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for telephone and live web chat enquiries.
  • Manage assigned quotes, ensuring accurate pricing and design to meet client requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Follow up on leads, offering tailored product and design solutions.
  • Value engineer materials and construction methods to reduce costs and secure sales.
  • Proactively seek new clients and business opportunities.
  • Assist Project Managers with pricing estimates.
  • Attend internal meetings and provide insights on sales opportunities.
  • Maintain updated drawing files and project trackers.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a sales/admin office environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • CAD experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Positive attitude with aspirations for career development.
  • Team player with an interest in joinery and timber.
  • Appreciation for garden and landscape design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
