We are looking for a Manual Machinist for a manufacturing company in Clacton on Sea. The company are a manufacturer of small components that are used within various industries.
The role on offer will be to work with a variety of toolroom machinery. You will need to have experience working on the same or a similar machinery or have worked within engineering or toolmaking.
Starting salary will be circa 16ph. Working hours will be 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 15:30 finish on Fridays.
Duties include:
- Machining parts on mills and lathes
- Work from technical drawings
- Understanding of tool design & related software
- Sticking to strict health and safety guidelines
- Working with surface grinders
- Working on CNC machinery as needed
