Junior project manager for our Clacton based client where you will to become a project manager for them where you will eventually lead and manage and control the full project life-cycle from start to finish. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who possess some office experience where they have dealt with engineering, timber and/or construction projects, have knowledge of AutoCAD seeking a role where they can really develop and become an experienced project manager. Once you have become competent with the company’s products, leant about how they work and their procedures you will then start to go out on sites to visit the clients and begin to manage your own projects and move from junior project manager to project manager. This really is a great opportunity for someone to join our client in this role of junior project manager and really progress with a career in project management.
The Role
- Understanding a client’s requirements
- Liaising with internal and external parties involved in the project process
- Become knowledge about all products the company provide
- Understanding a client’s requirements
- Interpreting architect’s drawings & designs
- Learn to become competent in drawing and estimating a proposed design
- Creating and maintaining project management documentation to appropriate standards including: Design drawings, fitting packs, Health & Safety requirements etc.
- Providing back up to the projects department
The Person
- Must possess knowledge of AutoCAD
- Possess a few years’ office experience gained within a manufacturing environment
- Ideally possess timber experience
- Knowledge of Solid works would be ideal
- Great communication skills
- A team player
- Have a keen eye for detail & the ability to work under pressure
- Flexible approach to work & the ability to prioritise & manage time effectively
