A client of ours in the Clacton on Sea area are recruiting a Technical Publications Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am - 4.00pm and paying 30,000 - 37,000 per annum depending on experience. This role is seeking appointment by November 2024 ahead of the current Publications Assistant retirement.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain customer-facing, product-based technical documentation, such as data sheets, manuals, sales literature, and drawings, using the Adobe Creative Suite of programs.
  • Support product development teams in creating documentation for new products.
  • Create and maintain product-based sales literature.
  • Prepare drawings for data sheets, manuals, user guides, and sales literature.


Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Technical Publications Assistant position:

  • Experience in using Adobe InDesign on Mac or PC essential.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • BTEC level 3 or equivalent in Electronics
  • High attention to detail.
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C (level 4) or above
