Market 36 Recruitment is seeking a CAD Technician for a permanent position in Clacton-On-Sea.
The role involves creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings, managing project documentation, and collaborating with the project management team.
Candidates should have strong joinery knowledge and hands-on experience, along with proficiency in CAD applications and Microsoft Office tools.
The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, with a clean UK driving license preferred.
The salary offered is up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a requirement for relevant experience in the field.

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician on behalf of our client based in Clacton-On-Sea on a permanentbasis.

The successful candidates will help support and manage ongoing projects with the project management team, provide support to the manufacturing facility and help product development.

Roles and responsibilities

· Using previous joinery knowledge to interpret architects’ drawings and designs

· Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for proposed designs

· Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design drawings, order sheets, fitting packs and health and safety requirements.

· Provide updates and feedback in team meetings to ensure smooth project progression.

· Attend occasional site visits to support project delivery

· Collaborate with the Project department to enhance processes and communication between the office and workshop.

Experience, Education & Qualifications

· Strong knowledge of joinery, Hands-on experience at a joiner’s bench is highly advantageous.

· Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD applications and Microsoft Office tools.

· Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas effectively.

· A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· A flexible and proactive approach to work.

· Clean UK driving licence

Working hours are Monday - Friday 40 hours weekly.

In return our client offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. (depending on experience)
