Just Recruitment is working with a stable engineering business, with a bulging order book - looking to add a Toolroom Machinist to their team on a permanent basis.The purpose of the role - is to work with the wiser business team, operating and setting machines, in order to fulfil and meet business production targets.Key requirements and duties: Working within company health, safety and environmental policy and practices.Machining in preparation for the manufacture, service and repair of tooling as instructed by department supervisorWorking within all company quality procedures to ensure tooling meets customer requirements every time.Ability to read and understand technical drawingsAbility to problem solve with an analytical approachAssessment of tooling following any unplanned downtimeBasic understanding of tool design and associated software packagesType of equipment individual will be expected to work with includes:MillsLathesCNCGrindersWorking hours are: 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3:30pm Friday.Offering 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, free parking - further training and development is available for the right candidate.
