Press Operator

All Square Recruitment are working with a reputable employer based in Clacton, Essex. 

Known for their reputation for excellence in manufacturing, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Press Operator to join their growing team.

Press Operator Responsibilities and Duties

• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
• Assist in routine maintenance of press equipment as required
• Setting and running of power presses 
• Ensuring all company quality procedures are adhered to at all times
• Reading and interpreting product/gauge technical drawings
• Communicating with other departments
• Ensuring effective feedback is provided when working with trial tools, modified tools and repairs

Experience Required

• Experience of operating power presses would be preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Ability to operate basic measuring equipment (Vernier/Micrometer)
• Good communication skills

Full training will be given and those with an engineering background may be considered.

Press Operator Shift details

Rotating shifts

Week 1 - 5:30am till 2pm, 12:30pm finish Friday

Week 2 - 1:30pm till 10pm, 12pm till 7pm Friday
