40 hours per week Monday- Friday - 8am-5pm

Our client, based in Clacton on Sea are a leading organisation in the agricultural industry, is seeking a Dispatch Picking and Packing Operative to join their distribution team.

Responsibilities:

• Print and process daily orders for both domestic and international shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper storage of products.
• Wrap, label, and secure pallets to maintain stability and safety during transport.
• Manage stock rotation.
• Dispose of sachet waste in compliance with regulations.
• Pack stock in priority order, aligning with courier collection times.
• Record fridge temperatures in accordance with quality requirements.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a tidy work area and observe safe work practises.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate product availability.
• Carry out additional tasks as requested by the Dispatch Operations Lead or Distribution Manager to uphold customer service standards.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to understand technical terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Professional and articulate communication style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• A driver's licence is desirable as the position will involve driving the company van.
• A positive and self-motivated mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop.
