Cooper Lomaz are delighted to be working with a business based in Clacton-On-Sea to source a Software Support specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will join an expanding business, and you will have an essential role within the business to support customers with the implementation and maintenance of their products.

Role Overview:

As a Software Support Specialist, you will be customer facing so outstanding customer service skills is essential. You will be supporting customers remotely, identifying root causes to technical problems, collaborating with internal teams to reduce future support.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of support to the customers.
  • Provide remote support, communicating effectively to troubleshoot and resolve issues, or escalate to relevant team member.
  • Collaborate with in house teams such as Product Owners, engineering or relevant colleagues to ensure effective resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with the customer base.
  • Document inbound tickets and create knowledge based / Troubleshooting guides.

Skills:

  • Experience working within a IT technical role.
  • Experience troubleshooting software application.
  • Hold experience with CRM or ERP systems like Salesforce.
  • Strong and effective customer service and communication skills.
  • Development skills in PHP, C#, HTML or .NET is a desirable skill.

Salary & Location:

  • This role is an office-based role, and will require you to be onsite full time**
  • This position is available on a full-time permanent basis
