We are seeking a fun and dependable RGN with a positive attitude on behalf of our client who run two homes in the Essex area of the South East, specialising in providing exceptionally high-quality residential care for young people with a variety of complex care needs.  The successful candidate will become part of a close nursing team providing top-notch care and support for only a handful service users at a time, primarily at their chalet bungalow with 5 single occupancy rooms, within walking distance of the seafront in the local town.

Key Responsibilities:

Nursing and Family Care

• Actively encourage a positive, friendly atmosphere for service users and their families.
• Ensure all medication is accurately and safely administered, recorded and stored.
• Identify and at all times work within your own professional competence and expertise whilst adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct.
• Take advantage of training opportunities to further develop your skills and expertise to enhance your role within the team including mandatory training sessions.
• Maintain professional registration with the NMC.
• Always present a good public image.
• Liaise closely with the all professionals and volunteers working with the service users and family to ensure a seamless service.
• Attend staff meetings and team briefings and participate in other meetings as appropriate (including external meetings).
• Take responsibility for using the appropriate channels to ensure good communication is maintained within the Organisation at all times.
