Just Recruitment is working with an established and stable organisation - based in Clacton, they are looking to add a Test Technician, to their long standing team.The key purpose of this role, is to work alongside the senior test engineer to test finished, manufactured, products.Key duties include: Assist in the execution of test procedures in line with company quality management procedures and legislative requirements.Gain technical knowledge of products, consequently assisting/dealing directly withtechnical sales enquiries.Manual handling of products up to 75kg utilising associated lifting equipment and loading/ unloading on to necessary test rigs.Managing external calibration schedule and carrying out in house calibration of test equipment.Administering and adjusting where necessary written test procedures and data logging in line with auditable requirementsMaintaining up to date legislative test knowledge and updating necessary documentation/ staff within the Test department.Represent the business at national seminars/briefings when required.Candidate requirements:Mechanical Engineer Qualification - i.e. City & Guilds level 2, NVQ,Proven practical experience in Mechanical Engineering environmentComputer literate - (word, Outlook, Excel)Good communicator and telephone manner.Interest in test procedures and willingness to learnWorking hours are: 8am - 4:30pm - Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3:30pm on FridayFree parking is available on site and they offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
