Manufacturing Administrator is required for our Clacton based client who are market leaders in their field. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong administration skills gained within manufacturing and/or engineering where you have to work from existing CAD drawings to process and progress orders. In your role as Manufacturing administrator, you will work under the direction of the Senior Project Managers taking ready drawn CAD designs and splitting them into parts, preparing documentation including the drawings to ensure they are ready for manufacturing. To be considered for this role of Manufacturing administrator you must possess knowledge of CAD and gained your administration skills working on manufacturing and/or engineering projects.

The Role• Taking ready drawn designs and splitting them in parts needed • Preparing documentation including CAD drawings to be ready for manufacturing• Interpret architects’ drawings & designs following senior projects managers meeting with clients • Keeping the project tracker programme and drawing files up to date throughout the whole project timeline • Create and maintain project management documentation to appropriate standards • Liaise with Project Managers on amended drawings to ensure changes can be picked up easily• Providing feedback in internal meetings to keep the team informed• Supporting the projects department where necessary • Attending occasional site visits

The Person• Must possess CAD knowledge• Previous project administration experience gained within engineering, manufacturing, timber and/or joinery • Previous hands-on experience on the joiner’s bench would be advantageous.• Ideally possess knowledge of Solid works • A keen eye for detail & the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines • Can do, positive attitude with aspirations for further development within the business• Team player.• Full driving licence.
