Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our teamin Clacton. You will join us on a part-time relief contract, and in return you will receive an hourly rate of £12 per hour.

About the Support Worker role:

We’re looking for a Support Worker who wants to make a real difference by joining a team that takes a refreshing approach to care.

At Glendale, we provide supported living in a homely atmosphere for adults with mild learning disabilities and some mental health issues.

We are a low support scheme and our experienced and skilled staff assist each of our eight service users to live independently.

Our service users are encouraged to take ownership of their support and we adapt our approach to ensure we are meeting their needs, rather than the needs of the service.

We support our service users to take part in a wide variety of activities, including helping them to seek employment or voluntary work.

Skills and experience of our ideal Support Worker:

  • A caring, patient nature
  • The ability to follow instruction
  • A willingness and desire to develop
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
