We are seeking a fun and dependable RGN with a positive attitude on behalf of our client who run two homes in the Essex area of the South East, specialising in providing exceptionally high-quality residential care for young people with a variety of complex care needs.  The successful candidate will become part of a close nursing team providing top-notch care and support for only a handful service users at a time, primarily at their chalet bungalow with 5 single occupancy rooms, within walking distance of the seafront in the local town.

Key Responsibilities:

Nursing and Family Care

• Actively encourage a positive, friendly atmosphere for service users and their families.• Ensure all medication is accurately and safely administered, recorded and stored.• Identify and at all times work within your own professional competence and expertise whilst adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct.• Take advantage of training opportunities to further develop your skills and expertise to enhance your role within the team including mandatory training sessions.• Maintain professional registration with the NMC.• Always present a good public image.• Liaise closely with the all professionals and volunteers working with the service users and family to ensure a seamless service.• Attend staff meetings and team briefings and participate in other meetings as appropriate (including external meetings).• Take responsibility for using the appropriate channels to ensure good communication is maintained within the Organisation at all times.
