Vehicle Technician

Location: Clacton-on-Sea, Essex

The Client:

Our client is a well-established used car service center, committed to delivering outstanding service to their valued customers.

The Role:

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll execute repair tasks with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the parts department for required parts, adhering to warranty guidelines.
Assess vehicles for additional safety or service requirements and promptly inform the Service Team.
Act upon repair orders directed by the Workshop Controller.
Communicate effectively regarding repair timelines.
Document all work performed using company procedures and systems.
Attend factory training sessions to stay updated on technical advancements.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the workshop area.
Adhere to safety protocols and company code of conduct.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in the motor industry.
Possess level 2 / level 3 technician qualification.
Educated to City & Guilds or NVQ standard.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Strong work ethic and pride in delivering high-quality service.
Experience with main dealer manufacturers would be beneficial.
Full UK driving license.

Shifts:

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Alternative Saturdays: 8am - 1pm
