About the role
We are seeking an experienced steel welder to join our team. You will work with other staff members to meet the diverse needs of our customers across the country. You will need to:
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in steel fabrication industry
- Be able to work on your own initiative and from drawing
- Be able to work as part of a team, completing projects and meeting deadlines
- Be highly motivated with the ability to solve problems and find bespoke solutions
You will need to have, and/or be able to demonstrate the following skills:
Essential
- MIG welding knowledge/experience
- Operating general steel fabrication machinery
- Cutting and grinding
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and texts
- Willingness to undertake further training
- Full UK driving license (Manual, Preferably Clean)
Desirable
- Relevant fabricating/welding qualifications
- TIG welding knowledge/experience
- MMA welding (Stick welding) knowledge/experience
Other information
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview, followed by a practical test in January 2025.
