Senior Production Planner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing operations, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, and other teams to develop, prioritize, and maintain the Master Production Schedule.
  • Implement and optimize production build scheduling to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure the availability of materials, labor, and resources to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
  • Manage forecasting and demand planning for multiple projects.
  • Maintain and manage MRP systems, including work order creation, pick and pack lists, and production & quality documentation.
  • Support Purchasing, Materials Handling, Stores, and Logistics teams, optimizing procurement processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and proper record maintenance.
  • Coordinate and manage Engineering Changes (ECN) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset, driving lean and efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation and development of ERP systems.
  • Ensure Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance, adhering to all EHS regulations and procedures.
  • Provide regular production and material status updates to the wider team and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in Production Planning or a related field.
  • Strong experience in ERP systems and MRP management.
  • Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience in purchasing and logistics management.
  • Background in life sciences or medical devices.
  • Experience with electronic and electromechanical products.
  • Strong customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to provide cross-departmental support when needed.
