Field Service Engineer
Sontex Machinery Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer who will ensure optimum customer satisfaction by providing first-class electrical and mechanical support.
Repairing and refurbishing our range of packaging equipment and enhancing strong relationships with our growing customer base.
This is a full-time position. Nationwide travel is an essential part of this role. Applicants would be ideally located within 40 miles of our office in Cleckheaton.
Field Service Engineer Requirements:
- Substantial experience in electrical, electronic and mechanical disciplines is essential.
- With an understanding and ability to fault diagnose problems with our wide range of packaging machinery is a must.
- Familiarity with machines; electrical parts; components and assembly are an essential part of this role.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities
- Being able to control situations whilst providing a high standard of customer service and having a flexible approach to work.
- Installation and commissioning the full range of packaging machinery at customer premises around the country.
- Carrying out training programs at customer premises.
- This role may involve loading products into machines, monitoring the packaging process when testing, troubleshooting or repairing any malfunction.
- Contacting customers from our office, to organise your weekly working schedule to best utilise time efficiency.
- When on site, assisting customers with spare part enquiries, orders, and technical queries.
Field Service Engineer Must Haves:
- Have a good basic geographical knowledge of UK locations.
- UK full clean driving license
- Occasional overnight ‘stop-overs’ may be required.
