Electrical Shift Supervisor £38 - £40K, Rotating shift , Early's and lates (6am - 2pm/12.30pm Friday. 2pm - 11pm Monday to Thursday. Private medical Insurance, Life assurance, company bonus.

The company are a market-leading Engineering and Manufacturing Business and due to growth within the business, they require a to support their continued growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams within an Electrical Department in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment. Individuals that have worked as an Auto Electrician also welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Shift Supervisor
- Organise the day-to-day duties of your team. (Pulling looms, fitting lamps, lights bars etc)
- Oversee that the loading on each team member contributes to the overall goal of the team.
- Ensure that the booking of production hours is performed correctly.
- Identify and rectify any problems which may arise.
- Should this not be possible, escalate to front-line management.
- Coordinate the work of the team with other departments where necessary to ensure the efficiency of your team.
- Look ahead to the immediate future build requirements and ensure enough consumables and 'Bought for Job' parts are available from the stores.
- Actively update the workshop job boards.
- As required, attend and participate in prebuild meetings.
Key requirements of the Electrical Shift Supervisor
- Relevant previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role.
- Be self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication, both written and oral.
- The ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Good organisational skills.
- The ability to work and make decisions under pressure
