Senior Tax Manager - North of England

As a Senior Tax Manager, you'll play a key role in providing proactive, efficient, and cost-effective tax services, making sure clients' needs and compliance with authorities are always met.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building strong relationships with clients and working closely with colleagues to ensure top-notch service delivery.
  • Supporting Tax Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers in delivering advisory assignments.
  • Training and mentoring Tax Trainees through to Tax Executives.
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients when needed.
  • Collaborating across departments for corporate finance, financial planning, and other services.
  • Getting involved in business development activities - from writing articles to networking.
  • Keeping up with the latest developments by attending courses and maintaining your CPD.

What we’re looking for:

  • ACA or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate tax.
  • Some experience with other taxes would be a bonus but isn’t essential.
  • A strong relationship manager who delivers quality service.
  • Excellent communicator, both with clients and colleagues.
  • Great time management skills to meet those all-important deadlines.
