Mechanical Process Engineer is needed to work in our Engineering & Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving industrial processes and implementing innovative solutions.

Description

  • All aspects of this role must utilise the TPM methodologies
  • Identifying through data collection and analysis areas within the process to improve safety, quality and productivity.
  • Applying experience and knowledge in continuous improvement and engineering to eliminate losses. * Creating a sustainable solution to prevent reoccurrence of losses.
  • Coaching, training and education of all appropriate employees to enable the solutions to be embedded into the process.
  • Leading and managing projects for the Production Department.
  • Utilising the resources on site for the successful of all projects.
  • Communicating with the teams/site on project status.
  • Coach and upskill the process knowledge and capabilities of the Shift Leaders and their teams, in line with loss elimination data.
  • Actively promotes and creates a culture of effective cross-functional team work to improve plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for leading and organising production downtime planning process with appropriate teams.
  • Actively monitors and analysis data and root cause to ensure KPI's are maintained to the agreed levels.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Process Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • Proficiency in using engineering software
  • A commitment to safety and quality
