North East Lincolnshire Council's Child Assessment and Safeguarding Service plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community.

They are looking for dedicated and experienced Social Workers to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

The successful candidate will be paid up to £40 per hour dependent on experience.

As a Social Worker in our Child Assessment and Safeguarding Service, you will be responsible for:


  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors.

  • Developing and implementing effective child protection plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies.

  • Providing support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their needs are met and promoting positive outcomes.

  • Collaborating with colleagues, partner agencies, and stakeholders to deliver integrated and coordinated services.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards.

  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings as required.

  • Keeping abreast of developments in social work practice, legislation, and policy to inform and enhance service delivery.


  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification
    • SWE? Registration
    • 2 year post qualifying experience within UK
    • Eligibility to work in the UK
