Office based and part-time.In this role you will report to the Finance Manager and will have relationships with all other departments when required.Main Duties:
  • Keep Purchase Ledger accounts accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure invoices align with corresponding purchase orders.
  • Verify that VAT on all purchase invoices is correct.
  • Organise and file purchase ledger invoices appropriately.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of supplier information for future transactions.
  • Address internal and external purchase ledger and invoice queries within 2 weeks of receipt.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks daily.
  • Check, input, and pay expense claims as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality and legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold integrity.
  • Assist with any other financial duties as required.
Skills required:
  • AAT Level 1 required, AAT Level 2 desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, while also being capable of working independently when necessary.
