Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

POST Recruitment is hiring a Branch Administrator to join a highly successful team. This role is crucial in supporting branch operations and ensuring smooth financial and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smart AP: Authorise purchases (within a set limit) on the central system.

  • Invoices: Upload purchase invoices received by post to the system and forward them to Accounts Payable.

  • Credit Card Transactions: Handle internet purchases for branches using a company credit card.

  • Cheques: Bank and scan customer cheques.

  • Concur: Enter expense transactions for approval.

  • Order Release: Manage credit limit issues by liaising with Credit Control, branches, or customers.

  • Till Closures: Ensure tills are closed daily across branches.

  • Customer Interaction: Handle customer queries regarding payments and invoices.

  • Filing: Organise purchase orders, post, and cash banking records.

  • New Accounts & Credit Limit Uplifts: Conduct pre-credit checks via Experian and Top Service before submitting recommendations to the MD.

  • General Admin Support: Assist three branches with various administrative tasks.

  • Collaboration: Develop relationships with key personnel in the wider finance teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven Branch Administrator experience or similar administrative background in a fast-paced environment.

  • A dedicated, positive, and passionate work ethic.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and manage shifting priorities daily.

  • Confident under pressure with a proactive and driven mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
