CNC Machinist / Operator- Clevedon

Our client, a major manufacturer of bearings for the aerospace industry, is looking to expand their team. We’re recruiting for several positions ranging from standard machining Operators to highly skilled CNC 4 and 5 axis machinists.

My client offers attractive salary packages with shift allowance, good holiday entitlement and pension.

Shift patterns will be:-

Monday to Thursday - 05:50-14:00 and 13:50-22:00

Fridays 05:50-11:20 and 11:10-16:40.

Depending on experience you would complete a rage of duties that can include:-

  • Support manufacturing process requirements
  • Work to aerospace quality standards
  • Actively participate and support Manufacturing Excellence
  • Uphold Health and Safety Regulations

What are we looking for:-

  • Machine setting and operating experience - Milling, Turing, CNC operations
  • Understanding tolerances torque and measurements
  • Provide general support to team leader / manager in maintaining and improving overall effectiveness of the channel.
  • Ability to work to local quality standards
  • Ability to work Safely and methodically
  • Ability work to standardised work procedures and policies
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing (5s, Material Flow)
  • Preferably completed a Manufacturing Basic Apprenticeship
