Sustainability, Heath & Safety Manager sought within Somerset division of global specialist equipment manufacturer offering comprehensive benefits package and further career development opportunities.
As the Site Sustainability and SHE Manager it will be your job to develop, implement, and manage the site sustainability strategy and roadmap in collaboration with Divisional and Business Area Sustainability teams. This role involves overseeing the site sustainability program, ensuring alignment with global standards and organizational goals and reporting progress to stakeholders. The manager will ensure compliance with the SHE Management System and relevant legislation.
The role includes developing and managing the internal audit plan and process per ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, monitoring compliance, and collaborating with global Sustainability and Quality functions for business improvements. The manager will serve as the SHE process application expert and oversee SHE business process improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and managing sustainability strategies, with a strong knowledge of SHE Management Systems, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is essential. Excellent project management skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also necessary for success in this role.
