PCB Assembler required by well established manufacturing company, based in Somerset . The successful candidate will be responsible for building PCBs and wiring of sub assemblies to customer specifications and requirements.

Main Duties – PCB Assembler

• Assembly of PCBs.
• Working from drawings and specifications.
• Preparing kit for production.
• Through hole soldering of components.
• Assembling and wiring of sub assemblies.
• Fitting of electrical components.
• Crimping and wiring.
• Inspection of fine detailed work, using magnifiers.
• Carrying out rework and repair when required.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience within a similar role.
• IPC trained or equivalent.
• Able to interpret mechanical and wiring diagrams.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
