- To collect and check kits of parts against specifications sheets, drawings, and other issued documents.
- To advise of any inconsistencies in documentation.
- To assemble and wire sub-assemblies to relevant standards and layouts.
- To rectify faults as instructed.
- To maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications / Knowledge- The ability to recognise Health and Safety hazards, risks and controls to maintain safe working practices and environment.
- Experience/aptitude to use work tools.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to understand how to best assemble components
- Ability to identify and understand the purpose of components.
- How to correctly wire a system.
- How to check the continuity and integrity of a system.
- Understand the importance of engineering standards.
- Any previous experience/interest in electrical/mechanical/electronic production environment

- Identify and report inconsistencies.
