Technical Compliance Officer

Join a leading food manufacturing company specialising in the production of flavourings and seasonings. We are seeking a Technical Compliance Officer to become an integral part of our clients Technical Team at our Clevedon site. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive outlook and a task-focused approach.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Write and develop company systems and procedures in line with BRCGS, M&S, and customer requirements.
- Serve as the technical key contact for the factory, addressing technical issues and queries.
- Manage customer contacts, queries, and investigations.
- Oversee the management of the Pest Control Contractor.
- Support internal and procedure audits.
- Log and investigate non-conformances.
- Manage Halal, Kosher, and Sedex certification.
- Handle raw material supplier management.
- Undertake special projects related to site-specific issues.
- Assist in managing raw material data and specification within procedure compliance.
- Provide support in writing company and customer specifications ensuring procedure compliance.
- Conduct emergency QC lab testing as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Competence in Microsoft Office and Outlook, including Word and Excel.
- HND or degree (or equivalent) in Food Science / Technology or a related field.
- GCSE or equivalent at Grade B or above in Maths and English.
- Previous experience in a similar technical compliance role.
- Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work.
- Full Right to Work in the UK.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
