An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Department on a permanent part time basis.

The Role:

  • Daily posting of bank transactions using bank feeds
  • Assist with Sales Ledger processes
  • Post purchase invoices on Sage 50 Accounts
  • Process payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements & prepare payment runs
  • Raise Intercompany recharges
  • Process sub-contractor invoices & submit CIS returns
  • Assisting with month end procedures
  • Potential additional ad-hoc tasks as required

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • Previous experience in Accounts Assistant role essential
  • AAT Level 2 or above desired but not compulsory with the relevant experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently with good time management & attention to detail
  • Strong organizational & problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, although also as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
