Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Pay: £37,000 per annum + 17.5% shift premium (total £44,000)
Location: Clevedon, BS21
Hours: Double Days

  • Week 1: 6am to 2pm, Monday to Thursday, 6am to 11:30am Friday
  • Week 2: 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Thursday, 11:30am to 4:30pm Friday
Key Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship trained or relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND).
  • Experience in a CNC manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical experience and a strong understanding of mechatronics.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance equipment.
Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team in Clevedon. This role involves servicing, fault finding, repairing, and improving a wide range of equipment, including CNC lathes, mills, and grinding machines. The successful candidate will work across both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Resolve breakdowns efficiently and perform fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on various equipment.
  • Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance.
