The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is expanding its operations worldwide, and we are seeking a skilled Global Mobility Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to support groundbreaking work that could shape the future of energy on a global scale.

About the Role:
As a Global Mobility Advisor, you will play a key role in managing a significant increase in secondments from UKAEA to host destinations around the world. You'll help facilitate seamless transitions for employees as they embark on high-impact projects internationally. You will also support secondments into UKAEA as part of their global knowledge-sharing efforts.

In this strategic role, you will be the go-to expert on immigration, relocation, cost estimates, and global mobility policies. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth transitions for secondees, providing detailed guidance and creative solutions that align with UKAEA's standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Management & Budgeting: Develop tailored cost estimates for secondee destinations, advising on temporary accommodation, expenses, tax treatments, and other financial considerations.
* Relocation & Visa Support: Liaise with relocation service providers and internal specialists to manage visa and immigration requirements, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with proposing managers, finance teams, and external providers to address individual secondee needs and provide comprehensive Q&A guidance for each country.
* Process Improvement: Drawing from experience in other global mobility roles, recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, communication, and policy adherence.
* Agreements & Compliance: Ensure secondment agreements with international hosts are accurately drafted and fit for purpose, adhering to GDPR and UKAEA's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) policies.

What We're Looking For:
* Global Mobility Expertise: Proven experience managing global mobility, including immigration, relocation, tax and expenses policies, ideally in a large, complex organisation.
* Analytical & IT Skills: Competent with spreadsheets and able to manage data for cost estimates and budgeting.
* Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including global service providers.
* GDPR & EDI Awareness: Understanding of GDPR best practices and experience ensuring equality, diversity, and inclusion in global mobility processes.
