Join this dynamic team in the heart of the Ribble Valley. We're seeking a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef to elevate kitchen operations. This role involves utilizing high-quality, seasonal ingredients to create diverse menus that include a la carte selections, tasting menus, and refined pub classics.

Chef De Partie Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a specific kitchen section, ensuring all preparations and presentations meet high-quality standards
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to develop new recipes and refine existing dishes, contributing creative ideas for menu enhancements
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control, including ordering kitchen supplies and negotiating with suppliers
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and educational atmosphere
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards

Chef De Partie Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in high-quality, fresh food kitchens, with a background in managing various sections of a busy kitchen
  • Experience or exposure to Rosette-level cooking is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure environments with precision and creativity
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and directing kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence
  • Passionate about gastronomy with a keen interest in the latest culinary trends and techniques
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
