Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Contract: 6 - 12 months+
Location: Clitheroe - 3 days per week on site, 2 working from home
Rate: 40 - 45/ph Umbrella
SRG are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer / Designer to join a successful client on an initial 6 month contract with the view of extension.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Carry out design calculations ensuring full compliance with all relevant codes and standards
- Plan, organise and provide technical support for internal and external technicians during the installation and commissioning of projects
- Work with internal customers to develop projects and modifications.
Criteria:
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design
- Experience working within a manufacturing industry
- Experience working on PED/ PSSR piping systems
- Experience using CAD packages.
