The Client

Our client is a fast growing Geospatial and Engineering company based in North of England with offices in both the Northeast and Northwest. With a reputation for high quality surveys and setting out across the UK.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a senior utility surveyor to join our clients growing team. You will be responsible for carrying out utility surveys, training junior members of the team and supporting the survey manager.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out investigative utility surveys in a variety of environments.
  • Handling, processing, and interpreting data within subsurface frameworks.
  • Liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Assist the Survey Manager with developing best practice methods.
  • Supporting junior surveys with surveys and their personal growth.
  • Ensure that all survey equipment is maintained and well kept.
  • Deliver to company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Experience

  • QCF3/QCF5 highly desirable but not a requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of GPR and underground surveying.
  • Ability to use EML and GPR with high proficiency.
  • Understanding and knowledge of PAS128.
  • Ability to understand and analyse asset owner record drawings.
  • Understanding and knowledge of land surveying (desirable but not a requirement).
  • Full driving licence and willing to travel to sites nationwide as required.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • CSCS Card.
