Job Description
- Managing a small section of Design Engineers designing for Offsite manufacturing (DFM).
- Working on cutting edge design solutions that are revolutionising the housing sector.
- DFM - Leading the way in modern methods of construction (MMC)
- As a Senior Product/ Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working within the R&D team offering solutions across a variety of projects varying in complexity.
About You
- You must have strong Solidworks experience.
- Strong organisational ability
- A hands-on approach with the team and projects
- Either worked with building regs. Or worked to standards and willing to learn.
- You will display confidence in your ideas and opinions as you will shape the new systems being built.
- This role will need strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous knowledge of a variety of materials such as plastic, metal, rubber and timber; and processes: from extrusion, injection moulding and casting.
The Package
- Basic Salary - up to £55,000
- 37.5 hours a week (flexitime)
