A unique opportunity has opened up for a P.E Teacher who is looking for Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Clitheroe area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for students of all abilities
  • Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork

  • Assess student performance and development in physical skills and fitness
  • Encourage good sportsmanship, discipline, and cooperation among students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular sports events and activities
  • Support students in developing leadership and teamwork skills
  • Monitor students' health and well-being, providing guidance when needed
  • Communicate with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and activities

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Proven experience of teaching P.E up to KS4
  • Strong knowledge of Science
  • Two education or school-based references
