Additionally, you will perform system upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and minimise downtime. A willingness to travel is required for this role.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. You should have at least three years of experience in delivering automation projects with a focus on software development. Proficiency in developing projects using Rockwell Automation or Siemens is essential. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex control system issues are crucial. You should also have knowledge of networking protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus, as well as industrial communication systems.
