- To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and general tidiness of the Training Kitchens, specifically the work surfaces, equipment and utensils
- To assist the Chef Lecturers in the Training Kitchen as required
- To ensure Training Kitchens are maintained to current Health and Safety requirements
- To receive food deliveries and ensure they meet required specifications
- To ensure effective and efficient disposal of all waste materials in line with all college Health & Safety procedures and practice
- To maintain record of all orders, stock items and temperatures of refrigeration and freezer units within the store
- Relevant kitchen-based experience gained in a similar role
- An understanding of Health and Safety procedures and Food Hygiene
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- General IT skills for record management
- PVG for working with children
